HeliRussia: a catching event in the global helicopter industry
From May 16 to 18, 2019, the 12th International Helicopter Industry Exhibition HeliRussia will be held in Moscow. The expo continues yearly since 2008 and constantly displays growth of the exhibition space and number of participants. It gathers both leading industry companies and new enterprises. Expo’s coverage allows the HeliRussia to showcase the full range of products and services of the helicopter industry, including military products. This year, the 11th HeliRussia have set the record – it gathered 246 companies from 19 countries and was visited by over 12 thousand people.

Key indicators of HeliRussia from 2008 to 2018
At HeliRussia you can get acquainted with the latest achievements of leading industrial companies. Regular headliner of the expo is Russian Helicopters, which includes Mil and Kamov design bureaus, 7 production factories, as well as 8 MRO enterprises and other support structures all over Russia. International companies also have an authoritative exposition at the expo. Leonardo Helicopters and Bell have licensed production of their rotorcrafts in Russia and introduces new models to the regional customers. Moreover, Airbus Helicopters Vostok acted as a sponsor of the expo 6 times and Leonardo Helicopters – 2 times.
Amongst regular participants of the expo are Safran Helicopter Engines, Lom Praha, Pall Corporation, PBS Velka Bites and other reputable international aerospace industry companies. In 2018, 19 countries were presented at the expo: Australia, Belarus, Belgium, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Iran, Italy, Israel, Libya, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Republic of Korea, Russia, Spain and USA.
In 11 years, HeliRussia have established itself as one of the most notable events in the helicopter world and gained global recognition. This is confirmed by quantitative indicators in comparison with other main industry events around the world.

The quantitative indicators of the past global helicopter events, according to the events websites
According to this data, HeliRussia is the largest helicopter expo in Europe. At the same time, it’s the largest expo in North Asia. It is expected that HeliRussia 2019 will be able to increase the quantitative indicators of its activities. This opinion is based on several supporting factors:
