New Releases, Innovations

Innovations came into the picture high-profile issues were those developments for air ambulance, facing a new challenge during COVID-19 pandemic. “Russian Helicopter Systems” presented a complex of medical equipment for domestic medical helicopters. The modified medical module allows the patient to be loaded and unloaded by one person. It ensures through the patient transportation that the patient is not moved to another stretcher at all stages of evacuation and uninterrupted connection of life-supporting appliance therefore.

Second novelty is the transportation box for contagious patients, helicopters of . “Russian Helicopter Systems” are completed with this. The box isolates the patient in a sealed environment with a cleaned air recirculation system for contamination prevention of the doctors and flight technicians.

The new Russian brand SmartHELI demonstrated flight samples of new helicopter type UAVs: SmartHELI-350 and SmartHELI-400. The UAVs can carry out operational air monitoring of the area, control the technical state of the infrastructure as well as deliver various cargoes. In addition, the design of unmanned helicopters allows to develop fasteners for nonconventional options for actual load, which expands the sphere of the application.

The only foreign helicopter manufacturer introduced this year at HeliRussia is Bell Textron Inc.

The company exhibited the latest Bell 505 light single-engine helicopter. Noteworthy is the fact that at the exhibition the aerial veichle is presented for the first time yet it is already registered in the Russian registry, but not delivered from the USA.
