Start of the photo contest «Rotorcraft beauty»
Spring knocks on the door and it`s time to announce the open call for entries in the annual photo contest the «Rotorcraft beauty»!
«Rotorcraft beauty» was launched by the Helicopter Industry Association in 2008 and this year celebrates its 15th anniversary. Over its long history, the photo contest has earned fame and respect both in Russia and abroad. For 15 years, more than 5000 pieces of art from 15 countries of the world have come to the photo contest. Over 150 photographers received awards.
Traditionally it goes along with the International Helicopter Industry Exhibition HeliRussia. During three days of HeliRussia 2022 (May 19-21), a selection of the 40 best photographs of the contest will be shown at a special exposition. The results of the «Rotorcraft beauty» will be summed up on May 21, on the third day of the exhibition.
The photo contest showcases the work of aviation photographers, both professionals and amateurs. Everyone can take part, regardless of the experience of photography and the level of photographic equipment. The objectives of the competition are to attract interest to the helicopter industry, showcase the best work of aviation photographers and support helicopter sports in Russia.
«Rotorcraft beauty – 2022» competition will be held in four main categories:
- Helicopter at work;
- Military helicopter;
- Helicopter at sports;
- Helicopter and nature.
Competition dates: from 16.02 to 16.04.2022.

The best photos of the competition sent in previous years are also available on the website.
